Ahead of the Stadium Series, I sat down with Rangers' backup goalie Jonathan Quick to discuss his new role with the Blueshirts. This season, Quick is having a career renaissance after joining the team he rooted for as a child. Quick is part of the reason that the Rangers have been on top of the metropolitan division for the majority of the season. Currently, Quick has a career-best record of 13-5 in his eighteenth NHL season. Quick cheered on the Rangers during their 1994 Stanley Cup run. Now, he’s hoping that he can bring the cup back to New York.
